Domestic Violence Gruesome SHOCKER Update: Graphic Photos - Viewer Discretion Is Advised (Please Support Actress, Monalisa Chinda's Cause).

Do you recall the story of the lady whose husband scarred her with an iron, and in his further evil quest to justify his paranoia about her alleged affair with his father, killed their baby boy? If you missed it, please check it out here: Domestic Violence Gruesome Shocker. Well, the brute has finally "given his reasons" for doing what he did and here is how Vanguard are reporting it:

Henry Nnadi, the 38- year-old dry cleaner that killed his 1-year-old son, Ebuka, and burnt his wife, Mercy, 36, with hot iron for allegedly sleeping with his 65-year-old father, has finally spoken on the circumstances that led to his beastly act from the confines of his prison cell at Kirikiri, Lagos.

Looking remorseless over the pains he inflicted on his wife of two years, the fair-skinned Henry only showed regrets when the issue of his dead son came up. “That was the worst thing I have ever done in my entire life. When he woke up crying for milk, I looked at him in anger and a voice came saying kill him, he is not your son. In obedience to that voice, I hit him hard on the neck several times.”

Insisting that he was unsure of the paternity of the boy, Henry gave vivid details of what transpired on the fateful Saturday, April 7, 2012. Excerpts:

“I am sure of what I am talking about. My wife, Mercy has been sleeping with my father. Before the incident, I have cautioned her to stop going to my father’s house because I suspected their moves . But she wouldn’t listen. Then one day, when she was about going out, I told her not to leave the house but she disobeyed me and went out. I waited for a while before going straight to my father’s place which is not far from where I live.

Mrs Nnadi at hospital

And to confirm my claim, immediately I arrived there, I knocked and my father opened the door with a towel round his waist. As I made to go in, he prevented me by blocking the entrance with his hand. I do not know how my wife managed to escape . But after waiting for a while, I left and immediately I got home, my wife had reached the house, I laughed and went to smoke to cool my temper. I was keeping all that in mind until that Saturday night.

“As I was ironing my customer’s clothes, I looked at my wife where she was sleeping on the bed and anger surged inside of me. I then heard a voice instructing me to go and ask her why she was sleeping with my father. By then, the iron was very hot and I thought I could use that to scare her.”

Monalisa Chinda, Desmond Elliott, Jim Iyke, Tuface, PSquare, Kunle Afolayan & A Host Of Other Stars Dazzle At The Lagos Premiere Of Emem Isong & Ini Edo's Hit Dance Themed Movie, "I'll Take My Chances", Directed By Desmond Elliott. (Red Carpet Photos)

Monalisa Chinda and Paul Okoye of PSquare

Awwww...my two favourite people, handsome Des and pretty lisa. Yessur!!!

The Lagos Premiere of Emem Isong and Ini Edo's Blockbuster Movie, "I'll Take My Chances", held on Friday, 24th January and to say that it was star studded, is an understatement!!! Below is a detailed account of exactly what went down, as narrated by Naijapals.

In what was a superlative amalgam of stars from the movie industry Nollywood & the Music industry, the Lagos Premiere of the blockbuster movie, 'I'll Take My Chances' was a watershed in many respects.

It went down as the biggest gathering of stars from the entertainment in recent times. The roll call boasted celebs like Paul Okoye of PSquare with his manager/brother Jude 'Engees' Okoye, Rugged Man, Faze, Slam (who did the musical score for the film) all mingled with Nollywood stars like Monalisa Chinda,Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha, Uche Jombo, Susan Peters, Nse Ikpe-Etim, Mahmoud Alli-Balogun, Segun Arinze, Kunle Afolayan and ofcourse the 'celebrants' of the day, Emem Isong & Ini Edo etc.

Also present were Director of the movie, Desmond Elliot, lead actor Bryan Okwara, Big Brother winners past & present Uti Nwachukwu & Karen Igho. New Nollywood was well represented with the presence of Uru Eke, Alexx Ekubo, Beverly Naya, O.C.Ukeje, Anthony Monjaro, Chelsea Eze etc.

The setting was authentically African and in keeping with the theme of the movie, ushers were dressed in native Akwa Ibom dance costumes, adding colour & flair to an already lively event! Observers were in for a treat when the lovelyDakore-Egbuson made an entrance!
Rarely seen on the Red Carpet these days, her appearance was a pleasant surprise as was the arrival of newly wed Mercy Johnson and Nollywood 'Bad Boy' Jim Iyke!

But what caused the biggest commotion of all was the arrival of soulful crooner, Tuface with the latest fiance in town, Annie Macauley! The place almost went berserk! They had to be ushered in through a back entrance and whisked upstairs to the cinema screening room.

The MC of the evening was Comedian, A.Y. who had everyone laughing as he introduced and recognized some familiar faces in the House! In what seems to be a Royal Arts trademark, the two halls used for screening were jam-packed with many having to make do with standing and some, sitting on the floor! But when the lights deemed and the movie came on, it was all worth it. The crowd loved it! Several times during the production, the audience broke into applause. Though in one of the halls, the screen setting (by Silverbird) was rather dark, it was later rectified and the audience continued to enjoy the movie till it ended in tumultuous applause. Overall, everybody had a great time an left with goodie bags laden with lots of stuff including packs of hair from Noble Hair & Chivita Juice!

Synopsis:
The dance themed movie boasts of an impressive cast of Ini Edo, Bryan Okwara, Sam Loco Efe (of blessed memory), President of ANTP Prince Jide Kosoko, Biola Williams, Lilian Ikpe, and dance act Ashleigh Clark among others. The movie was directed by Desmond Elliot, a versatile actor. The movie tells the story of IK, a young theatre arts graduate, who majored in dance in the U.S. He hopes to stage a drama, but lacks the fund to get through with it, and he seeks the help of his girlfriend, Giselle. However, IK has to go for his youth service in a village in Cross River and there he meets the beautiful Idara (Ini Edo).

Despite their obvious differences, the two are drawn together, but Idara harbours a secret. She has been selected to be the next high priestess of Unek, a deity worshipped by her people through dance. Something will have to give as she is torn between her love for IK and the path destiny had chosen for her.
