Apple Siri Revealed On Comedy Show, The Big Band Theory: See Video

I am actually doing this blog post because of my friend, Eric, who is in love with this Apple Siri's voice. He's always going on about "Siri this" or "Siri that" like a love sick puppy! *eyes rolling*

Well, Eric will be mad chuffed to discover what I just stumbled upon...voila...a video of the woman behind Siri's voice being revealed on CBS' popular comedy show, The Big Band Theory!

Just in case you are confused, Siri is the (female) voice of Apple’s ground breaking and well loved voice-powered personal assistant. If you own Apple products, then you should be familiar with Siri's voice.

Siri got involved in the story when Raj Koothrappali, one of the main characters in The Big Band Theory, got himself a new iPhone 4S and inevitably fell in love with Siri and her voice. So, Raj (aka "Eric's partner-in-love"), actually gets to meet her in his dreams. LOL!

Hmmm...could Apple have sponsored this story-line for more publicity, seeing how infectious Siri's voice has been on guys? If so, Siri deserves a huge pay rise! Hehehe! Anyway, check Siri out in the video clip below.

Eric, this is for you!!! :D

Nick Cannon Covers Bleu Magazine's "MAN OF THE YEAR"

Bleu Magazine recently caught up with Nick for their upcoming Cover Story and he spoke on his newfound sexy symbol status as well as marriage to Mariah all while flexing his muscles for the accompanying photo shoot.
On being a sex symbol
[Being labeled a sex symbol] comes with the territory of being a solid husband and good father. Women find that kind of stuff appealing and sexy. Growing up, I was always the smallest kid in the school…I was the skinny and lanky dude…So I embrace [being labeled a sex symbol] now.
On his relationship with wife Mariah Carey
Mariah and I are both hopeless romantics. We just made a pact to say that we want to be in this because we enjoy each other and we love each other…We want to be successful at being in a relationship; we want to have a good time.”
A relationship shouldn’t seem like something you have to work at; it is not a task. We always wanted a fairy tale relationship…and the drama that normally comes with it, we [can] do without.
On being a father
I was built for fatherhood. I grew up in a family with a lot of kids…I have taken care of kids my whole life. As soon as my children were born, they became first and everything else became secondary.

Spot • Jennifer Lopez At 'The Late Show With David Letterman'

Jennifer Lopez stopped by The Late Show With David Letterman to promote American Idol on Saturday. The singer arrived together with her boytoy dancer Casper, wearing a fur accented coat by Alberta Ferretti. The singer also wore embellished platform sandals by Jimmy Choo and carried a clutch that matched her coat. Jennifer kept her hair down in a layered style and wore statement earrings.

What can I say? A real JLo style.

Taylor Swift was spotted bargain shopping in Ventura (CA) on Sunday. The singer looked casual and cute in a flirty white Anthroplogie dress, which she had accented with a tan leather grosgrain belt. Taylor teamed her lacy dress with peep-toe sandals by Frye and a Ralph Lauren cross-over bag with a suede flap. Taylor wore her hair down in glossy curls.

Report • The 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Best Dressed

On Saturday the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were held at the Shrine Auditorium in LA.

Emma Stone walked the red carpet in a flirty tea-length strapless dress from Alexander McQueen's Pre-Fall 2012 collection. The lace embroidered gown with flaring skirt was paired with peep-toe sandals and an embroidered McQueen clutch. Emma's hair was up in a soft do, her look was topped off with gorgeous Tiffany & Co. earrings.

Amber Heard donned a complicated Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2011 gown, which featured cut-outs at the shoulders and waist. The actress wore her hair in a super-teased updo, not my favourite do from Amber but fine. She opted for copper statement eye make-up and nude lips. She accessorized with H.Stern jewels.

Julianna Margulies was a Good Wife in a gorgeous strapless embellished gown by Calvin Klein. The white gown contrasted beautifully with Julianna's dark hair. Then there's her hair. I'm not a big fan of Julianna's half swept back hairstyle. Her make-up on the other hand, is flawless. The actress finished off her look with white statement earrings.

Zoe Saldana opted for a gown that was showed only five days ago in Paris. The actress debuted a white Givenchy haute couture gown from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection with diamond and spike embellished collar and sleeves. Zoe's tank gown with shiny skirt featured a sheer overlay with floral embroidery. Zoe paired her gown with Giuseppe Zanotti heels, a Givenchy clutch and Tiffany & Co. jewelry, her hair was in a teased updo. The only thing I don't like about Zoe's look is that it looks like Zoe is wearing a simple tank top underneath her gown, but in the meantime this is part of the design.

Emily Blunt looked stunning in a gorgeous jade dress by Oscar de la Renta, from the Resort 2012 collection. The one-shouldered chiffon gown with high split was teamed with Jimmy Choo sandals, a Swarovski clutch and Lorraine Schwartz bangles. I love the gown but I'm not too happy about Emily's updo, it feels sloppy with the gown, but chapeau for the coral lip shade and blue eyes complementing the green colour of the gown!

Actress Jayma Mays looked shiny in a fully-embroidered Fall/Winter Reem Acra gown with train. The cap-sleeved gown also had a lace inset on the bag and looked gorgeous on the Glee-actress. Jayma paired her dress with leather and lace sandals by Brian Atwood, a clutch by Judith Leiber and Neil Lane jewels.

Jessica Chastain was a lady in blue on the red carpet. The red-haired actress opted for a custom designed azure blue Calvin Klein Collection gown. The bustier gown looked beautiful with her fair skin and red hair, which was in old Hollywood curls. The actress paired her blue gown with sapphire Harry Winston drop earrings.

Lea Michele walked the red carpet in a silver corset gown by Atelier Versace, from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection. Although I love the dress with the thigh-high split on Lea, I feel like she's not tall enough to pull of all the fabric. The actress paired her dress with silver Casadei pumps, a sparkly Fendi bag and Lorraine Schwartz diamond.

Angelina Jolie looked beautiful in a slinky black Jenny Packham Fall 2011 draped gown. The metallic gown was even more gorgeous on Angelina since she accessorized with drop hoop earrings from House of Lavande. The actress wore her hair in a swept back straight style. Angelina's look was finished with Gucci heels, a clutch by Louis Vuitton and a few rings by Platt Boutique.

Stacy Keibler attended the SAG's together with George Clooney. She walked the red carpet in a lace gown with a mermaid-like skirt and a wide scalloped neckline by Marchesa. Stacy also carried a clutch and accessorized with large diamond drop earrings. Her hair was in a soft, wavy updo.

I know I didn't include Natalie Portman and Sophia Vergara in my post, although they looked gorgeous. Natalie wore a beautiful Giambattista Valli gown but she wasn't best dressed because she wasn't able to work the gown. Sophia's curve-hugging gown was just same old, same old.

My favourite of the evening? Since I'm into glitz Jayma Mays and my all time faves Stacy and Amber. But also Emily, whaaa I can't choose! You?

Spot • Kristen Stewart Arriving In Paris

Kristen Stewart touched down in Paris this afternoon. The actress donned her standard travelling look, opting for Victoria Beckham Powerskinny jeans, a basic t-shirt and a vintage 'Joseph Gilman Company' jacket (a jazz musician), we all know she's into vintage! Red Carpet Report • The 64th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards

On Saturday, the 64th Annual Directors Guild Of America Awards were held at the Grand Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.

Shailene Woodley was spotted at the 64th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards held in Hollywood on Saturday in a floor-length Valentino Spring 2012 lace embroidered gown with ruffled cap sleeves. The actress decided to wear a black strapless underlay by Hervé Legér which totally ruined the look for me, she should have worn a nude design. Shailene teamed her gown with Jimmy Choo flats and a side braid. Love for the braid!

Jennifer Aniston was another lady that attended the 64th Annual Directors Guild of America Awards. The actress donned her signature little black dress by Dolce & Gabbana, this time a strapless one with an embellished floral pattern. Jennifer paired her dress with strap sandals by Celine and a Salvatore Ferragamo envelope clutch. Her hair was down in a straight layered style, she opted for neutral make-up.

One of my fashion-crushes, Amber Heard, flaunted her curves in a navy silk Spring 2012 Roland Mouret gown. The gown was accented with flaps, a high split in the front and a plunging back. The gown was paired with black peep-toes. Amber wore her hair in a voluminous style and wore neutral make-up. Love.

Although Michelle Williams skipped the red carpet, she did wear a beautiful Chanel Couture gown from the 2007 collection. The gown featured stunning embellishments in silver, navy, gold and green in the bodice and the split and also an embellished appliqué on the shoulder. Michelle styled her dress with black pumps, diamond stud earrings, a diamond bracelet and a diamond ring.

Berenice Bejo opted for a Gucci Spring 2012 black and gold dress from the collection we have seen many times on the red carpet. It was a perfect fit for the actress! The flapper style dress was paired with strappy Gucci sandals and a black and gold Gucci clutch which matched her dress. Berenice wore golden make-up, her hair was swept into a curly ponytail.

Helen Mirren looked beautiful in a Badgley Mischka Spring 2011 gown, but it was a re-run from the 2011 Golden Globes and for me that's a no go to a big event like the DGA's. The yellow gown featured embellished cold shoulders and draped detailing. Helen's hair was in a chic updo, she opted to accessorize with diamond statement earrings and a matching yellow-gold clutch.

Kathleen Robertson walked the red carpet in a sleek black gown with patent leather detailing by Ronald Abdala. She paired her gown with a black clutch and large diamond statement earrings. The actress wore her hair in a chic updo. As for the make-up, Kathleen opted for a reddish lip shade. I do think the make-up looks a little freaky around the eyes and nose.

Missi Pyle looked like she had opted to wear her night gown on the red carpet. Although the Chagoury Couture cocktail dress had a beautiful lacy design, it just made me think of a négligée. I'm not a big fan of her accessory-choice either, the actress opted for a dark clutch and nude embellished pumps: no. Missi's hair did look good, though. She wore her hair down in long glossy curls.

So then again, if I have to choose my favourite: Amber Heard!
Who was yours?
