Spot • Doutzen Kroes at Victoria’s Secret Bombshell Tour in Toronto

Our Dutch supermodel Doutzen Kroes also joined the party to make it a bombshell summer! The Dutchie attended the Victoria's Secret Bombshell Tour in Toronto. On 12 p.m. she was on hand to graciously sign authographs for her fans. Doutzen wore a supercute silk, sleeveless dress by Azzedine Alaïa, which had a striped skirt and a V-collar. She teamed her dress with tower high heels which had cut-out details at the upperside of her feet. Doutzen let her beautiful wavy hair hang loose.

Not familair with Doutzen? She has graced the covers of many international Vogues and other magazines and is one of the five highest earning models in the world (yes, she is on the list with Gisele Bündchen and Adriana Lima). Still, Doutzen is very down to earth, she tells: “It’s nice that we’re called Angels, but we’re still normal girls. We’re girls that have insecurities and deal with the same things that all girls deal with." The model also tells that Gisele is her favourite Angel.

Spot • Victoria Beckham Hits the Football Field

Victoria Beckham looked fabulous -as she always does- as she watched her son Cruz play football in Los Angelos this weekend. Posh is little more than a month away from giving birth and she's still keeping her baby bump under wraps. Victoria wore an all black ensemble, which is not very surprising since she has worn mostly black through-out her pregnancy. Victoria wore black leggings, a black top, a black sheer cardigan and her favourite 6inch Louboutin suede ankle boots. VB also wore huge aviator sunglasses and her always there gold iPhone. I totally admire her for walking on her high heels trough-out her pregnancy and while walking on muddy grass ;)

Nail News • Deborah Lippmann Summer 2011

Bold, fashionable, glamorous and funny: Deborah Lippmann Summer 2011 shades. Staying away from the glittery shades and going with this season's colour block trend, your nails definitely should be covered in Deborah Lippmann's summer 2011 shades! Fashionistas, let go of your chic pastel shades and go for these bright and vibrant colours, in a vintage looking way. The rich, creamy structure is this collection's signature. The shades cost $16 each and are available in the US now.

From the left to the right: Girls Just Want To Have Fun (vintage coral - velvety and carefree), I Know What Boys Like (a creamy blend of blue and purple - retro and playful), Yellow Brick Road (sheer and jelly mellow yellow, as seen on Lady GaGa at the Grammys!) and Lara's Theme (a double Dutch hot orange, created by our Dutch proud: Lara Stone).

Nail News • OPI Summer 2011 'Nice Stems!'

I already posted OPI's 'The Muppets' holiday collection and fall/winter collection 'Touring America' but I'm running a little late with the limited  summer 2011 collection Nice Stems!
OPI's limited edition collection features four new laquers in beautiful and popping shades of pink for perfect summer looks. The Nice Stems! collection is based on flowers - just as most of the runway fashion for summer - and has a sensual and feminine look. The polishes are glossy and glittery and create a very chic look.

The collection features four shades of pink (from the left to the right) : Play the Peonies (soft pink), Come to Poppy (shimmery coral pink), Be A Dhalia Won't You? (fuchsia) and I Lily Love You (glittery hot pink).

The I Lily Love You shade can be worn as a normal polish, which will have strands of glitter or can be worn as a topcoat on top of the three other shades.

“These vibrant, feminine hues complement 60’s ladylike fashions, 70’s glam looks, and bold colour blocking, which are the season’s staples,” says OPI's Executive VP & Artistic Director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann “The Nice Stems! collection also offers an interesting contrast and feminine accent to the punk and biker looks on the runways.”

This limited edition Nice Stems! collection will be available beginning June 2011 in the US.

I especially like Come to Poppy! How about you?

Spot • Blake and Leo Holding Hands in Monaco

Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCapio cosying up part two! Blake and Leo were spotted at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival in France in May. A week later they were spottes at Portofino, Italy. Now, they both turned up in Monaco and although their relationship isn't denied nor comfirmed yet, the two were holding hands! Blake was wearing a white mini dress with a tulle skirt. She teamed the dress with a white knitwear top, nude Louboutin heels and a classic Chanel flap bag. She styled her hair in a thick braid. Leo wore comfy denim jeans, a navy blue blazer on top of a white tee and of course, a baseball cap.

What do you think? Is this European romance staged, or real?

Review • Hema #83 'Baby Blue'

This weekend I tried a baby blue nail polish (€2,50) which I bought at the Hema some time ago (Hema is a Dutch warehouse). I tried it and I love the baby blue trend, but I think this shade makes me look a little cheap. I always have a tan and I think the contrast looks just plain cheap. What do you think?

So I wore the polish for two days and removed it. I did it because I don't like the colour on me but also because it chipped already. With that comes that I'm used to OPI laquer and its quality so I didn't like the structure of the nail polish. Of course I couldn't expect OPI quality for the money I paid, because the Hema polish is five times as cheap ;)

What do you think?

Premiere Report • Penelope Cruz's Pirates Red Carpet Style

To the premiere of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Penelope Cruz wore a custom, off-the-shoulder mermaid Marchesa gown. The black gown was emboidered with feathers and crystal details. I'm not a big fan of feathers, so not my favourite gown.

To the Moscow premiere, the actress wore an Emilio Pucci Fall Collection 2011 dress, which explains the snow flakes on her dress. So why is Pene wearing a long-sleeved, velvet dress in the middle of May?

To the London premiere of he newest movie, Penelope wore an angelic Givenchy Couture Fall 2010 gown with a somewhat mermaid-like train. The zippers and curve hugging model looks beautiful on the new mom. A golden clutch completed Pene's ensemble.

To the Pirates photocall in Cannes, Pene looked absolutely stunning. The Spanish beauty wore a tight-fitting Stella McCartney Fall 2011 dress and matching satin Casadei pin heel pumps. The navy blue dress has a velvet skirt and the bodice looks somewhat contrasting.

Later that evening Pirates 4 premiered in Cannes and Penelope looked so pretty in a lilac Marchesa Fall 2011 gown (this gown is the same idea as Rachel McAdam's gown in Cannes at the Sleeping Beauty premiere in Cannes). The gown had some tufts of tulle on the shoulders and a flowing tulle train with beautiful details. To complete her look, the actress wore fine Chopard earrings and a gold Swarovski clutch.

In Munich Penelope wore a custom Armani Prive gown. She looked amazing in a long-sleeved curve-hugging red gown which she accessorized with red peep-toes and a red clutch by Armani Premiere.

To promote Pirates 4 in Spain, Penelope attended the photocall in Madrid, her hometown. She wore a black Hakaan jumpsuit, Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and Chopard hoop earrings. She let her beautiful hair hang loose.

To the Madrid premiere, the actress wore a beautiful floor-sweeping Armani Prive dress. The dress had sheer sleeves with floral detailing. The bodice of the dress was embellished with glitters and she teamed her dress with a black Swarovski clutch. Her hair was in a chic updo with a couple of loose strands. This was Pene's last premiere for now and she'll probably head home to her hubby and baby soon!

What is your favourite look? I loved the deep blue Stella McCartney dress!

Spot • Kim Kardashian in Monaco

After announcing her engagement, Kim Kardashian and her brand new fiance Kris Humphries jetted off to Monte Carlo, Monaco. Kim and Kris attended Kevin Williamson's fashion show and the Amber Fashion Show, looking absolutely stunning. Kim wore a white dress and a glitterly clutch by Alexander McQueen, nude Louboutin heels and her 20.5 carat Lorraine Schwartz engagement ring.

Spot • Halle Berry at the 2011 FiFi Awards

Halle Berry attended the 2011 FiFi Awards which were held May 25 in New York. Halle looked gorgeous, wearing a black one-shouldered, gold belted dress by Halston Spring 2011, which had cut-out detailing in the waist, showing off her belly button. She teamed her dress with black strappy sandals by Louboutin, a black Tod's clutch and gold hoop earrings. I love her look and Halle has the body to rock this dress.
