Report • 2011 Billboard Music Awards in Las Vegas

On May 21st, the annual Billboard Music Awards took place in Las Vegas. A lot of stars attended now, it's time to take a look at all the fashion! 

Selena Gomez looked gorgeous wearing a black Dolce & Gabbana gown with cut-out detailing on at the waist, a high split and a sweetheart neckline. She styled her gown with red strap heels and a black clutch, both by Judith Leiber. Selena kept her hair down in a straight style and nude lippie.

Taylor Swift looked fabulous in an embellished nude and bronze Elie Saab gown. She kept her hair down in curly do. Her lips were dark hot pink and she finished her look with some statement earrings. Maybe this is more a Cannes look than a Billboard look?? 

Fergie rocked a short-sleeved Hervé Legér dress which had a high collar harness and a peplum skirt. The dress was cut-out at the waist. To complete her look, Fergie wore Louboutin pumps, a fringe detailed Alexander McQueen clutch and she kept her hair down in wavy curls.

Nicki Minaj made a few different appereances at the the award show. First, she dazzled on the white carpet, wearing a baby blue Mark Fast bodysuit, which fitted her like a glove. The jumpsuit was embellished with light pink and silver details. White Versace Resort lace up sandals and pink lippie completed her look. For her performance, the edgy singer changed into a white Mark Fast bodysuit. Her third look was a black satin jumpsuit combined with a black blazer and strappy black Louboutins. Very classy!

   

Kylie Minogue looked great in a black Alexander McQueen Spring 2011 dress, which was embellished with beads, buttons, sequin details, satin, tulle, silk and organza. The dress had cut-out shoulders and Kylie styled her ensemble with Louboutin fringe sandals and gold disc earrings.

Rihanna had a busy evening at the Billboard Music Awards. She first arrived on the white carpet in an oversized white Max Azria suits and nude Louboutins. After walking the white carpet, she opened the show togheter with Britney Spears, performing S&M, both dressed in edgy bodysuits. After her performance, Rihanna also accepted the Radio Artist of the Year award.  

Nicole Kidman, who attended the show because her hubby was performing, wore a lace Dolce & Gabbana gown. Her floor-lengt dress had a sheer skirt and was styled with earings and an elegant braided do.

Beyoncé arrived in Las Vegas wearing a Lanvin Fall 2011 dress and Louboutin heels. She accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Not much to say about this look. A little boring maybe? But for her performance, Beyoncé wore a much more entertaining creation. She performed Run The World (Girls) in a sparkling barely there dress and later, she accepted the Millenium Award for her music and her involvement in The Survivor Foundation's humanitarian work.

 

 Keri Hilson wore a pop of colour outfit: a yellow Rachel Roy dress with sheer sleeves and a green belt. The rest of her accessories were gold. I have seen better looks on her, but a good piece of colour blocking!

Ke$ha wore a blue-ish silver Jad Ghanour cut-out dress on the white carpet, before changing into a metallic and feathered body for her stage performance.

Mary J. Blige wore a leopard printed Marc Bouwer gown and styled with Gianmarco Lorenzi shoes, and Ofira jewellery. I think the panels of the dress are to solid and the neckline and bold shoulders are just too overwhelming.

Michelle Williams dazzled on the red carpet in a sequined LBD with a soft fringed skirt. She wore black platform stiletto booties and styled her look with a red embroidered clutch.

Keri Rowland squeezed into a hot pink Hervé Legér bandage dress to walk the white carpet. Her make-up matched her dress, she wore some pink lippie and eye-shadow.
