Last night, the 2011 VMA's were held in LA. The big winners of the night were Katy Perry, Lady GaGa and Adele. For the full list of winners, check out MTV.com here.Adele took home several awards in a black dress by Burberry with a decorative and colourful neckline which she teamed with black pumps with a golden edge. The singer wore her hair in a voluminous style and wore dark eye make-up. I love this chic look!
Newlywed Kim Kardashian walked the not there carpet in a glittery silver sequined gown with an open back and a V-neck by Kaufmanfranco. Kim paired her dress with matching heels and she accessorized with a sparkly cuff and statement jewellery. Kim wore purple eye make-up, and nude lip shade.
Beyoncé looked stunning in a bright orange one-shoulder Lanvin Fall gown while beaming with joy, hugging her BABYBUMP! She paired her cut-away gown with ivory Swarovski platform heels with pearl details by Rene Caovilla. Bey accessorized with a contrasting emerald ring, a diamond cuff bracelet and diamond tassel earrings, all by Lorraine Schwartz. Beyoncé's hair was sweeped in a ponytail and she wore natural make-up.
During the show, Beyoncé wore a tuxedo look which included a purple sequin jacket by Dolce & Gabbana and wide black pants. Although Beyoncé is pregnant, she didn't slow down just yet while performing Love on top on killer heels.
MTV's Louise Roe also attended the VMA's and wore a super summery look. Louise opted for a beautiful taupe halter maxi dress by Tibi. The dress had a colourful beaded and jeweled body. She paired the dress with metallic heels and a transparent red clutch by Edie Parker. Louise wore heavy eye make-up and her hair was in a ponytail which was sweeped to the side. I also love her coral red nail polish!
Katy Perry opted for a lot of cute looks at the 2011 VMA's. Mrs. Brand started off in an embroidered geisha style mini dress by Atelier Versace which had blossom-shaped sequins all over. Katy teamed her dress with bright pink Jimmy Choo sandals and a baby blue parasol.
Katy's second look, to introduce Adele, was a purple lace Tom Ford dress with long sleeves. The dress was detailed with all sorts of flowers and had a metallic belt in the waist.
For her third look, Katy went for a Christian Dior Couture Fall 2010 ensemble. The outfit consisted of a pastel pink top with green lining and a huge yellow button, and a tulip shaped skirt with a print. On top of her head, the singer wore a square yellow hat by Stephen Jones. Katy paired her ensemble with bright-coloured Giuseppe Zanotti wedges. Her pink hair looked great with the outfit!
And then, the last outfit. Katy wore a custom dress by Johnny Wujek for Furne One. The glittery dress was decorated with broken records and one record was even perched on her head! Katy paired her dress with ankle strap heels.
Britney Spears was honoured with the Michael Jackson Vanguard Award. For this big night Britney wore a black sequined romper and belt by Moschino with a zig-zagging print. The singer teamed her romper with Gina peep-toe calf boots, which make her legs look more stumpy. Despite the bad choice of shoes, her hair and make-up were beautiful.
Kelly Rowland was also attending the show and she did that in a long-sleeved dress which was black and gold embroidered with a leather feather detailed skirt by Falguni & Shane Peacock from the Fall 2011 collection. Kelly teamed her dress with spiked peep-toe pumps by Christian Louboutin and a matching clutch. Love this!
Selena Gomez walked the carpet in a very black, gothic-y Julien MacDonald Fall dress. The dress had a high lace neckline, a short skirt and a longer train on the back. The singer/actress accessorized with gold pieces, including Brian Atwood pumps, a metallic box clutch, drop earrings and a gold cuff. Selena pulled her hair back in a low bun. I think the look is a little old for her.
Of all attendants, Beyoncé's is definitely my favourite in her Lanvin gown!
I also loved Louise Roe and Kelly Rowland.
