Miranda Kerr showcased her gorgeous street style in New York yesterday, while running some errands and strolling with Flynn. The Australian supermodel first stepped out in a summery floral-printed dress with plunging neckline. Miranda styled her flirty dress with Chanel T-strap sandals and a navy leather Miu Miu bag. A straight hairstyle, Stella McCartney shades and a bright red lip shade provided the finishing touches for the look. Later that day, Miranda stepped out in another sizzling look. When leaving a business meeting, the Victoria's Secret angel wore cropped beige A.L.C. tuxedo-inspired pants, paired with a sleeveless white Equipment blouse. Miranda accessorized with black patent leather Manolo Blahnik pointed-toe pumps, her go-to Celine tote and her favourite Stella McCartney shades. A healthy tan, simple ponytail and nude lippie completed the look.

Nail News • Chanel Fall 2012 Couture Nail Art

 

Last week, Chanel showcased its newest collection for the 2012 Paris Fashion Week, which is all about Couture. The collection was magical, with a new vintage theme, as a hommage to Coco Chanel. Although the collection mainly consisted of suits, there were a few outstanding other looks in the collection. The vintage tweed was replaced with hand-made embroidery on tulle: thousands of hours of work. I really like this collection, but I'm always all about the nails! What I spotted when I took a closer look at the collection was the nail art. This is the first time that Chanel has introduced an own kind of nail art!

 

For this Chanel style you first apply one layer of your wished colour, for the Chanel show Le Vernis Silver was used, which was sold as a limited edition in 2007 and isn't available anymore. As a second colour, May from the Spring 2012 collection was applied. When applying this coat you make sure not to cover your whole nail, leaving framings of the first coat. Now you have lined nails!

I really like this idea! To me it seems like a new twist to the French manicure!

Nail News • Chanel Fall 2012 Collection

Jeeeej! The Chanel Fall 2012 nail polish collection is almost here! I love how the brand always keeps things classic but still new! Chanel's shows have all been about luxury and fantasy lately, based on the glowing and rich-hued precious stones like diamonds and emeralds.

The colours are (from L-R): Suspicious (a bright fuchsia red), Frenzy (milky beige) and Vertigo (almost black with shimmery red).

I always love bright colours so Suspicious is my favourite here! I also love the magical lavender twist in Frenzy. What is your favourite?

 

The collection will drop worldwide on August 27 2012 so have fun! I can't wait!

Lea Michele and her Glee co-star and real life boyfriend Cory Monteith were spotted leaving their Paris hotel yesterday afternoon. Together, they attended the Versace show front row and now it was time for the couple to head home. Lea looked absolutely cute in a sweater I just love: the Iro Ivy pullover. She paired her two-tone knit pullover with black leggings and two-tone leather Chanel boots. A side-swept braid, her g0-to black Givenchy back and aviotor sunglasses completed Lea's look.

Milla Jovivich joined Diane Kruger front row during the Chanel Fall 2012 Haute Couture fashion show during the 2012 Paris Fashion Week. Diane Kruger - a real Chanel girl - and her beau Joshua Jackson sat front row during the Chanel Fall 2012 Haute Couture show held at the Grand Palais during the 2012 Paris Fashion Week today. The German actress looked stunning denim Chanel Resort 2013 dress. The short-sleeve dress also featured a voluminous flared skirt. Diane styled her look with studded black flats by Louboutin, a metallic Chanel python clutch and a black baret for the French touch. A side-swept ponytail, held together with a gorgeous diamond brooch and a red lip shade with matching red mani completed Diane's look.

 

I'm just not too crazy about the baret, but I guess that's Diane's French touch?

Emma Stone walked the red carpet at the Regency Village Theatre in Hollywood last night for the premiere of The Amazing Spider-Man. The actress looked dazzling in a white Chanel Resort 2013 dress. The short-sleeve dress with red velvet embroideries on the bodice and shoulders and voluminous skirt with tulle hemline looked super elegant on Emma. Hilary Duff was spotted running some errands in Los Angeles this week. The 24-year-old actress and new mom looked radiant after giving birth to her little boy Luca in March. On Thursday, the Wynn Las Vegas opened Mizumi, a new haute cuisine restaurant. One of the attendees was Ashley Tisdale. The actress wore a bubblegum pink Brian Lichtenberg scuba dress. The short-sleeve dress, with plunging sheer panel was paired with beige suede Yves Saint Laurent pumps and a matching beige Chanel shoulder bag. Red Carpet Report • The 'Rock Of Ages' LA Premiere

Malin Akerman was one of the first to step out on the red carpet for the LA premiere of her latest movie, Rock Of Ages, which was held at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. 
Malin wore a customized Reem Acra Fall 2012 gown, showing off her slender body. The black gown featured shimmering silver panels and various cut-out details. A low-cut back and thigh-high split made this look even more baring. Black ankle-strap sandals, a black Edie Parker box-clutch and dangling drop earrings completed Malin's look. 

  

Julianne Hough provided a pop of colour on the black carpet. The actress/dancer wore a citrine crepe dress by KaufmanFranco. The cut column dress with illusion panels was styled with sparkling Stephen Webster earrings. A messy topbun and orange lip shade provided the finishing touches for this look. Two -1's here: the ungroomed, messy topbun makes Julianne look sloppy and the illusion panel is on the tight side on her back. +1: what a gorgeous bold choice!

  

Ashley Tisdale joined the ladies of Rock Of Ages on the black carpet. The young actress wore a rain-bow sequined Dress the Population Ginger dress. The sleeveless mini with sheer black yoke was paired with hideous black ankle boots (why oh why?) and a quilted leather Chanel bag. A straight hairstyle with a pink lock and bubblegum pink lippie concluded the look.

Russell Brand hosted the 2012 MTV Movie Awards last night in Universal City. A lot of awards were handed out but more important... The fashion!


Jessica Biel wore a white Chanel Spring 2012 dress with criss-cross back. The textured dress with voluminous sleeves was paired with fresh two-tone ankle strap Barbara Bui sandals. A statement bracelet by Giles & Brother and a straight hairstyle with blunt bangs provided the finishing touches for Jessica's look. Leighton Meester went for a simple look, wearing a Christian Cota Spring 2012 ensemble. The off-white shorts with matching sleeveless jacket were paired with a silk top. The actress teamed her look with nude suede Brian Atwood pumps and a Jimmy Choo clutch. Orange lips, Neil Lane jewels and a simple updo completed the lovely look.

Julia Jones donned an eye-popping Joy Cioci Spring 2012 dress for the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. The neon-yellow structured dress with laser-cut detailing and a cute peplum. Nude pumps and an emerald cocktail ring concluded Julia's look. Kristen Stewart took home Best Kiss and Best Movie for Breaking Dawn in a Guishem mini. The metallic dress with geometric purple, black and green panels was paired with her favourite Louboutin Pigalle pumps. A side-swept messy hairdo, smoky eyes and a Repossi ring completed Kristen's look. 100% appropriate for this event!

  

Emma Watson stepped out on the red carpet in a purple-y grey Brood Fall 2012 top with matching skirt. The sporty ensemble featured futuristic-printed blue panels on the skirt. Intricate strappy sandals by Tabitha Simmons and chunky cuffs styled her look. A sleek bob and simple make-up completed the look. Louise Roe looked beautiful in a purple David Meister gown. The off-the-shoulder knit dress with sleek skirt may have been too much for this event but it looked gorgeous on Louise. Side-swept cascading curls and kohl-rimmed eyes provided the finishing touches for the look. 

                  

Lucy Hale also walked the red carpet at the 2012 MTV Movie Awards. The actress donned a colour-block dress by Catherine Malandrino. The silk dress with a draped-and-pleated teal skirt, coral top and cobalt belt featured a plunging neckline. Lucy paired her pretty dress with silver Casadei platform pumps and a glittery embellished Edie Parker clutch. Side-swept curls finished her look. Ugh! Do I spot creases? Charlize Theron looked red hot on the red carpet. The actress wore a gorgeous in a silk strapless dress with streamlined-peplum by Lanvin, from the Fall 2012 collection. The actress styled her strapless dress with silver Jimmy Choo sandals, a metallic bangle and diamond stud earrings. A soft hairstyle and flawless make-up completed her look. 

   

Ciara stood out on the red carpet in a red leather Balmain dress with a thigh-high split. The wrap-dress with plunging neckline was held together with multiple safety pins. The singer styled her dress with beige Louboutin pumps and a stack of silver statement rings. Hideous ombre hair and nude lippie provided the touches for Ciara's look. Mila Kunis disappointed on the red carpet. The actress cheapened a Fendi Pre-Fall 2012 dress. The sheer dress with black, orange and white sequined was paired with black peep-toes by Jimmy Choo. A glossy hairstyle and simple make-up concluded Mila's look.
