Red Carpet Report • The 2012 Teen Choice Awards

On Sunday evening, Fox News organized the annual Teen Choice Awards in Universal City. It was a big teenager event, with lots of fashion so lets see!

Taylor Swift looked pretty in a cream Maria Lucia Hohan dress. The silk dress with illusioned open back and flirty skirt was styled with patent leather Prada slingbacks, a nude clutch by Edie Parker and rose drop earrings. With her hair up in a chic chignon held together by a diamond brooch, kohl-rimmed eyes and a diamond Lorraine Schwartz bracelet, Taylor's look was completed.

 

Lea Michele stepped out on the pink carpet yesterday evening. The actress looked pretty in a sexy Atelier Versace Spring 2012 dress. The strapless textured mini with gold metallic peplums was paired with pointed-toe Versace platform pumps, which seemed a bit too chunky with the dress. Dangling silver earrings, a heavy tan and glossy pink lips provided the finishing touches for the look.

   

Selena Gomez celebrated her 20th birthday during the show. The singer/actress looked gorgeous in a pink Dsquared² Resort 2013 dress with flared skirt. The sleeveless dress was styled with nude Herve Leger by Max Azria sandals and star earrings by Lana Jewelry. Sleek center-parted hair and sultry smoky eyes completed the look.

 

Hayden Panettiere, what can I say... Purple is not my colour. The blonde actress wore a sequined Zuhair Murad dress with a cut-out on the back. The dress with frilled hemline was styled with multi-colour Brian Atwood platform pumps and a glittery purple clutch. Hayden wore her hair down in a beachy style.

 

 

 

Victoria Justice walked the pink carpet in a flirty leopard-print halterneck dress by Gomez-Gracia. The handkerchief dress with asymmetric hemline was decorated with a crystal-embellished leather belt. Victoria styled her dress with nude pointed-toe pumps, a metallic Lauren Merkin clutch and gold hooped earrings. A sleek hairstyle and sultry make-up completed the look.

 

Lucy Hale looked gorgeous in a coral red Wes Gordon Spring 2012 halter dress. The fitted sleeveless dress with flared skirt was styled with shiny Brian Atwoord ankle-strap platform sandals and a matching box clutch by Jimmy Choo. A glossy side-swept braid, a rich red lip shade complementig her dress and gold Giles & Brother bangles wrapped up the look.

 

Chelsea Kane looked cute on the pink carpet. The actress/singer donned cropped Alice & Olivia patchwork shorts, paired with a white French Connection top with pale yellow embellished sleeves. Chelsea styled her look with suede electric blue pumps, which provided a pop of colour. Gold stud earrings and a smooth short hairstyle completed the look.

  

 

 

Shay Mitchell looked radiant in yellow on the pink carpet. The Pretty Little Liars actress donned a bright bustier dress by Donna Karan. The sleeveless mini with frayed detailing beautifully showed off Shay's toned legs. Unfortunately, Shay paired her dress with nude Camilla Skovgaard pumps, although bright strappy sandals were needed here. Glossy ombre curls and sultry make-up finished the look.

 

Zoe Saldana looked stunning at the Teen Choice Awards. The actress wore a belly-baring Jonathan Saunders Pre-Fall 2012 look. Zoe paired a geometric-printed crop top with matching voluminous skirt and styled her look with aqua blue sandals by Louboutin. Tiffany & Co. jewels and flawless make-up provided the finishing touches for the look.

 

Nina Dobrev was a winner on Sunday. The Vampire Diaries actress took home the Best TV Actress in a Fantasy/Sci-Fi Series award for the series. Nina looked beautiful in an emerald green Resort 2013 dress. The silk bustier dress featured a voluminous gathered skirt and was styled with sparkly metallic strappy sandals by Louboutin, a Kotur clutch and delicate Coomi jewels. A healthy glow and a braided hairstyle completed the look.



 

 

Demi Lovato hosted the 2012 Teen Choice Awards yesterday evening. She looked very edgy in a silver-and-yellow Falguni & Shane Peacock Spring 2012 mini dress. The embellished dress with leather sleeves and feathered hemline was styled with black Louboutin platform peep-toes. A towering sleek ponytail, a black manicure and silver statement earrings wrapped up the look.

 

Zooey Deschanel went for a cobalt blue Monique Lhuillier dress to attend the award show. The New Girl actress selected a Resort 2013 A-line dress with matching belt. Zooey paired her dress with black leather bow-embellished pumps and a gold Jimmy Choo clutch. I really dislike Zooey's accessory-choices here, it's just too dark. A soft hairstyle with whispy bangs and kohl-rimmed eyes completed the look.  

  

Nikki Reed looked beautiful at the pink carpet. The actress paired a top and skirt by Contrarian New York from the 2012 Holiday collection. Nikki wore a ink blue strapless corset with deep V-neck and a silk black gathered skirt. She styled her ensemble with sparkly silver platform ankle-strap sandals by Brian Atwood and a matching sparkly Jimmy Choo clutch. A teased ponytail and cat-eye make-up and embellished earrings provided the finishing touches for the look.

 

Kristen Stewart didn't walk the pink carpet but did collect the Ulimate Choice award for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2 onstage. The actress looked pretty in black leather pants, paired with a blue-and-silver printed Roberto Cavalli Resort 2013 blazer with silk black lapels and a simple Fluxus tee. Kristen styled her look with her favourite black Pigalle pumps by Louboutin, her go-to Cartier jewels and a black Maison Martin Margiela bracelet. Complementary metallic blue eye make-up and a side-swept hairstyle with single braid finished the look.  

  

Jordin Sparks walked the pink carpet in a black Chagoury Couture halter dress. The dress, with plunging neckline and floral bead-embroidered top also featured a voluminous poufy skirt. The singer styled her look with purple Prada pumps and pink Simon G drop earrings. A simple ponytail, glossy lips and kohl-rimmed eyes provided the finishing touches for Jordin's look.

 

Gwen Stefani performed at the Teen Choice Awards with her band No Doubt. The actress looked very edgy, rocking a sleeveless high-neck leather biker jacket and black pants, both by Yves Saint Laurent. Gwen styled her look with Louboutin pointed-toe pumps and mirrored cat-eye shades. A side-swept hairstyle, red lips and a gold XIV Karats bracelet wrapped around her ankle completed the look.

Premiere Spot • Blake Lively at the 'Savages' LA Premiere

Blake Lively walked the red carpet last night for the world premiere of Savages, her newest movie, held at the Mann Village Theatre. The actress showed off her gorgeous body in a Zuhair Murad Spring 2012 Haute Couture gown. The strapless bustier gown with intricate pattern of black beads also featured a frilly tulle train. Blake wore her hair down in side-swept cascading curls. Rich red lips, a matching mani and diamond jewels provided the finishing touches for this sexy look.

 

I may have expected a lighter look from Blake, something summery. But I do love this gown on her gorgeous curves!

Red Carpet Report • The 'Rock Of Ages' LA Premiere

Malin Akerman was one of the first to step out on the red carpet for the LA premiere of her latest movie, Rock Of Ages, which was held at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. 
Malin wore a customized Reem Acra Fall 2012 gown, showing off her slender body. The black gown featured shimmering silver panels and various cut-out details. A low-cut back and thigh-high split made this look even more baring. Black ankle-strap sandals, a black Edie Parker box-clutch and dangling drop earrings completed Malin's look. 

  

Julianne Hough provided a pop of colour on the black carpet. The actress/dancer wore a citrine crepe dress by KaufmanFranco. The cut column dress with illusion panels was styled with sparkling Stephen Webster earrings. A messy topbun and orange lip shade provided the finishing touches for this look. Two -1's here: the ungroomed, messy topbun makes Julianne look sloppy and the illusion panel is on the tight side on her back. +1: what a gorgeous bold choice!

  

Ashley Tisdale joined the ladies of Rock Of Ages on the black carpet. The young actress wore a rain-bow sequined Dress the Population Ginger dress. The sleeveless mini with sheer black yoke was paired with hideous black ankle boots (why oh why?) and a quilted leather Chanel bag. A straight hairstyle with a pink lock and bubblegum pink lippie concluded the look. 

  

Catherine Zeta Jones also walked the black carpet last night. The actress wore a one-sleeved Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 dress. The nude dress with black lace embroideries and asymmetrical hemline was styled with strappy black sandals and jewels by Lorraine Schwartz. A straight hairstyle and dark eye make-up completed the look.

Red Carpet Report • Elton John's AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party

On Sunday night, Elton John hosted his annual Aids Foundation Oscar viewing party. I know, I'm late with my report but better late than never: I've been very busy!


Gwen Stefani wore a lace Zuhair Murad Fall 2011 Couture dress. The black dress with cherry red appliqués and intricate structure was paired with YSL pumps. Gwen's hair was in a poofed-up style. The styling weighs the look down. Rose McGowan took the white carpet in a Paule Ka 2012 creation. The gown with high black skirt and one-shoulder tangerine organza top was paired with a glittery Edie Parker clutch. Rose wore her hair in a chic updo. Emerald statement earrings by David Webb completed her look. 

  

Kat Graham was a lady in black, the singer/actress donned a Lloyd Klein Beverly Hills Collection dress with an extravagant bodice and long train. The structured strapless dress with center-split was paired with towering platform heels and a leopard clutch by Lemaresca Pon Pon. Kat's hair was in a clean updo, she completed her look with dangling diamond earrings. Nina Dobrev was stunning in a black cut-out detailed gown by J.Mendel, from the Fall 2012 collection. The dress with deep neckline and pleated skirt was paired with Brian Atwood heels. Nina accessorized with a sparkly Jimmy Choo clutch and jewelry by Chopard. 

  

Sarah Hyland swapped her lilac gown for a mid-length full skirt dress by Collette Dinnigan. The black dress had sequin and lace details all over. The actress paired her cute dress with black peep-toes by Giuseppe Zanotti and a red satin clutch. Sparkly statement jewelry and hot red lips completed Sarah's look. Kim Kardashian opted for a simple look. The star wore a structured black dress by Alaia. She teamed her mermaid dress with cut-outs in the skirt with a stack of Lorraine Schwartz bangles and matching dangling earrings. 

  

Malin Akerman also attended Elton John's party. The actress wore a Sportmax Spring 2012 gown which was fully embroidered and featured cut-out details in the neckline. Malin paired her gown with a patent leather waistband and Chopard jewelry. Beachy curls finished her look. Jessica Lowndes sported a silver-and-grey Monique Lhuillier dress with full skirt and shimmering net overlay. The dress was accented with a thin bow-detail. She teamed her dress with shiny silver peep-toes and silver jewels. 

 

Katy Perry was shiny in a floor-length tulle gown with illusion-panels along the neckline. The  glittery gown looked good on Katy, but I guess the blue hair makes me dislike the look. I'm still not a fan of it. Katy accessorized with a pearl bracelet and a small black clutch. Miley Cyrus opted for a long-sleeve Roberto Cavalli gown with chiffon train. The grey gown with floral embroideries was, for once, a classy choice. Miley paired her gown with diamond statement earrings and a curly hairdo. A bright red lip shade completed her look. 

  

Karolina Kurkova donned a glittery Armani Privé jumpsuit with plunging neckline and open back. The supermodel styled her fashionable jumpsuit with deep red satin pumps, the shoes matched her lipstick and manicure. Karolina wore her hair in a clean updo, a box clutch and dangling diamond earrings completed her look. Kathleen Robertson donned a mini dress by Anthony Franco. The halterneck dress with beaded tassels was a perfect fit for Kathleen. The actress teamed her dress with black Zanotti pumps and a bright green Judith Leiber clutch. With her hair in a clean updo and Amprali jewels, Kathleen's look was finished.

  

Vanessa Hudgens wore a beautiful gold column gown from the Georges Chakra Spring 2012 Couture collection. The shimmering strapless gown with foiled cut-outs was paired with a matching gold Swarovski clutch. Vanessa wore her hair in a curly, fresh style. Anna Paquin donned a long-sleeve gold patterned cocktail dress from Emilio Pucci's Fall/Winter 2012 collection. The actress teamed her dress with satin Brian Atwood pumps and a gold clutch. Her hair was in a tight updo. Multi-coloured drop earrings completed Anna's look. 

    

Anne Heche wore a sparkly gold Dolce & Gabbana gown with rough black trimming. The gown had a pleated skirt with black tulle and featured a structured waistband. The blonde actress paired her gown with D&G pumps and a black-with-gold trimmed Versace clutch. Anne's hair was in a simple updo, Neil Lane jewels topped off her look. Bar Refaeli looked sizzling in a shimmering Roberto Cavalli gown. The off-white gown with deep V-neck had a gold-and-silver sequin pattern. Bar wore her hair down in a straight style and swept her manes over the shoulder. The model also carried a clutch. 

  

Brooklyn Decker also attended Elton John's bash. The actress looked lovely in a slinky Valentino gown with scallop-patterned overlay. The spaghetti-strap gown was teamed with a silver Jimmy Choo clutch and Jimmy Choo pumps. Her hair was down in flirtatious curls, she wrapped up her look with Chopard jewels. Alessandra Ambrosio showed off her growing baby bump in a nude Roberto Cavalli gown. The one-shoulder gown with thigh-high split and Swarovski-detailing was paired with Ferragamo T-strap sandals and Martin Katz jewels. Alesandra kept her hair down in a wavy style. 

  

Irina Shayk wore a white gown by Versace. The model wore a one-shoulder gown with glittery embellishments and a thigh-high split. She teamed her gown with strappy platform sandals and a silver clutch. Irina wore her hair in a tight updo, she completed her look with diamond jewelry. Paz Vega was a stunner in white at the viewing party. The actress opted for a Stéphane Rolland Spring 2012 Couture gown with a fanned detail on the hip (love!). The long-sleeve dress was accented with a thin gold belt and a gold necklace. Paz wore her hair down in glossy waves. 

  

Kourtney Kardashian put her baby bump on display in a white Raoul dress with gold neckline. The wide dress was styled with gold statement jewelry by Ofera, including bangles and hoop earrings. Kourtney wore her hair up in a teased bun, she also carried a Swarovski clutch. Mena Suvari looked cute in a trapeze dress by Romona Keveza. The Spring/Summer 2012 dress was covered in silk flowers. Actually, this dress is from Keveza's bridal collection, ha! Mena did look flirty though, she paired her dress with a black clutch and black open-toe heels with bow detail. Her hair was in a simple updo. 

  

Dianna Agron went somewhat casual on Oscar night. The Glee-actress went for a floral Carolina Herrera Pre-Fall 2012 dress. The silk flowy dress looked cute on Dianna, but it was somewhat casual for such a big night. The actress paired her dress with a thin white belt, Jimmy Choo clutch and shoes and Neil Lane jewels. Her hair was in a tight updo. Dita von Teese looked pretty in a pale pink Jenny Packham Fall 2012 gown. The gown with an embellished cap-sleeve gown with keyhole accent was paired with a Swarovski clutch and Louboutin heels. I love how the deep red lippie and her raven hair contrast with her gown! Diamond Bulgari jewels completed Dita's look. 

  

Ashley Tisdale also walked the white carpet on Sunday. The actress opted for a red silk gown with sweetheart neckline from Maria Lucia Hohan's Fall 2011 collection. Ahsley paired her flowy mousseline gown with House of Lavande earrings and a box clutch by Edie Parker. Ashley wore her hair up in a simple bun. Heidi Klum looked stunning in a yellow Atelier Versace Spring 2012 dress. The dress with structured shoulders and gold details looked gorgeous with Heidi's beautiful tanned legs. The open-back dress was teamed with gold-capped Louboutin pumps and gold jewels. A simple teased updo finished Heidi's look. 

  

Zhang Ziyi opted for a blue Elie Saab Pre-Fall 2012 gown. Zhang's gown with embellishments and key-hole accent was teamed with Elie Saab platforms and a Swarovski clutch. The actress kept her hair up in a polsihed do, Bulgari jewelry and bold red lips finished her look. Kelly Osbourne wore a pale yellow floor-length Georges Hobeika gown. The floral embroidered gown with open back was accented with a thin white leather belt. The 27-year old teamed her gown with Giuseppe Zanotti heels and a white Judith Leiber clutch. Kelly's hair was in a chic updo, she accessorized with Montblanc jewels. Contrasting red lips provided the finishing touch.
