Red Carpet Report • The 'Rock Of Ages' LA Premiere

Malin Akerman was one of the first to step out on the red carpet for the LA premiere of her latest movie, Rock Of Ages, which was held at Grauman's Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. 
Malin wore a customized Reem Acra Fall 2012 gown, showing off her slender body. The black gown featured shimmering silver panels and various cut-out details. A low-cut back and thigh-high split made this look even more baring. Black ankle-strap sandals, a black Edie Parker box-clutch and dangling drop earrings completed Malin's look. 

  

Julianne Hough provided a pop of colour on the black carpet. The actress/dancer wore a citrine crepe dress by KaufmanFranco. The cut column dress with illusion panels was styled with sparkling Stephen Webster earrings. A messy topbun and orange lip shade provided the finishing touches for this look. Two -1's here: the ungroomed, messy topbun makes Julianne look sloppy and the illusion panel is on the tight side on her back. +1: what a gorgeous bold choice!

  

Ashley Tisdale joined the ladies of Rock Of Ages on the black carpet. The young actress wore a rain-bow sequined Dress the Population Ginger dress. The sleeveless mini with sheer black yoke was paired with hideous black ankle boots (why oh why?) and a quilted leather Chanel bag. A straight hairstyle with a pink lock and bubblegum pink lippie concluded the look. 

  

Catherine Zeta Jones also walked the black carpet last night. The actress wore a one-sleeved Zuhair Murad Fall 2012 dress. The nude dress with black lace embroideries and asymmetrical hemline was styled with strappy black sandals and jewels by Lorraine Schwartz. A straight hairstyle and dark eye make-up completed the look.

Red Carpet Spot • Kristen Bell's 2012 CMT Music Awards Looks

Kristen Bell co-hosted the 2012 CMT Music Awards in Nashville last night. The actress wore various stunning ensembles!


First, Miss Bell stepped out on the red carpet in a beautiful sparkling gold Reem Acra Spring 2012 gown. The short-sleeve gown with sequin embellishments looked gorgeous on Kristen, even on her petite frame. A wavy hairstyle, smoky eyes and a bright pink lip shade provided the finishing touches for Kristen's first look. The second gown was as beautiful as the first one. For her stage arrival, the actress wore a vintage collection Collette Dinnigan gown. The one-shoulder gown featured crystal embellishments. Beachy waves and glossy lips completed this look. 

  

After the sparkling gown, Kristen wore two Monique Lhuillier looks. The first was a fully sequined white corset-dress from the Spring 2011 collection. The strapless dress was paired with a blush feather caplet, from the same collection and strappy sandals. A wavy ponytail and berry red lippie concluded this look. The last look was a black chiffon gown from the Fall 2011 collection with a gold embroidered neckline. A chic updo and smoky eyes completed this look.

Red Carpet Spot • Eva Longoria at the Global Gift Gala

Eva Longoria stepped out on the red carpet yesterday evening for her foundation's fundraiser Global Shift Gala, held at the George V Hotel in Paris. 


Eva looked gorgeous in a shimmering Reem Acra Fall 2012 gown. The art-deco embellished long-sleeve gown was accessorized with diamond stud earrings. A high ponytail and heavy make-up finished Eva's look. 

  

I love the gown on Eva but the make-up is too much.

Premiere Spot • Kristen Stewart at the 'Cosmopolis' Cannes Film Festival Premiere

After Robert Pattinson showed some support at his girlfriend's On The Road premiere, it was now time for girlfriend to show support for his Cosmopolis Cannes Film Festival premiere tonight. 


Kristen Stewart stepped out in a bright red crepe Reem Acra Pre-Fall 2012 gown. The sleeveless gown with plunging neckline had lace panels on the back and the sides. The actress put her hair up in a messy bun. A bright red lip shade that matched her gown and her standard Cartier jewels finished Kristen's look.

Red Carpet Spot • Eva Longoria at the Cannes Film Festival Charity Cocktail Evening

As a last appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, Eva Longoria hosted a Charity Cocktail Evening together with Denise Rich. 


Eva looked glamorous in a long-sleeve mini by Reem Acra, from the Fall 2012 collection. The fully embroidered metallic dress in shades of silver, gold and champagne was paired with complementary metallic strappy sandals and a matching embellished clutch.  A teased half-up, half-down hairstyle, statement eye make-up and glossy pink lips completed the look.

Red Carpet Spot • Jennifer Hudson At The 2012 Concert For The Rainforest Fund

Jennifer Hudson was spotted at the Pierre Hotel NYC at the 2012 Concert for the Rainforest Fund where she performed and attended the after party following her performance on Tuesday. The singer looked lovely in a blush Reem Acra Spring 2012 gown. The strapless gown with embroidered bodice and flowing skirt was paired with gold jewelry. Wavy locks finished the look.

Report • The 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards Best Dressed

On Saturday the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were held at the Shrine Auditorium in LA. 


Emma Stone walked the red carpet in a flirty tea-length strapless dress from Alexander McQueen's Pre-Fall 2012 collection. The lace embroidered gown with flaring skirt was paired with peep-toe sandals and an embroidered McQueen clutch. Emma's hair was up in a soft do, her look was topped off with gorgeous Tiffany & Co. earrings. 

  

Amber Heard donned a complicated Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2011 gown, which featured cut-outs at the shoulders and waist. The actress wore her hair in a super-teased updo, not my favourite do from Amber but fine. She opted for copper statement eye make-up and nude lips. She accessorized with H.Stern jewels. 

  

Julianna Margulies was a Good Wife in a gorgeous strapless embellished gown by Calvin Klein. The white gown contrasted beautifully with Julianna's dark hair. Then there's her hair. I'm not a big fan of Julianna's half swept back hairstyle. Her make-up on the other hand, is flawless. The actress finished off her look with white statement earrings.

  

Zoe Saldana opted for a gown that was showed only five days ago in Paris. The actress debuted a white Givenchy haute couture gown from the Spring/Summer 2012 collection with diamond and spike embellished collar and sleeves. Zoe's tank gown with shiny skirt featured a sheer overlay with floral embroidery. Zoe paired her gown with Giuseppe Zanotti heels, a Givenchy clutch and Tiffany & Co. jewelry, her hair was in a teased updo. The only thing I don't like about Zoe's look is that it looks like Zoe is wearing a simple tank top underneath her gown, but in the meantime this is part of the design. 

  

Emily Blunt looked stunning in a gorgeous jade dress by Oscar de la Renta, from the Resort 2012 collection. The one-shouldered chiffon gown with high split was teamed with Jimmy Choo sandals, a Swarovski clutch and Lorraine Schwartz bangles. I love the gown but I'm not too happy about Emily's updo, it feels sloppy with the gown, but chapeau for the coral lip shade and blue eyes complementing the green colour of the gown!

  

Actress Jayma Mays looked shiny in a fully-embroidered Fall/Winter Reem Acra gown with train. The cap-sleeved gown also had a lace inset on the bag and looked gorgeous on the Glee-actress. Jayma paired her dress with leather and lace sandals by Brian Atwood, a clutch by Judith Leiber and Neil Lane jewels. 

  

Jessica Chastain was a lady in blue on the red carpet. The red-haired actress opted for a custom designed azure blue Calvin Klein Collection gown. The bustier gown looked beautiful with her fair skin and red hair, which was in old Hollywood curls. The actress paired her blue gown with sapphire Harry Winston drop earrings. 

  

Lea Michele walked the red carpet in a silver corset gown by Atelier Versace, from the Fall/Winter 2011 collection. Although I love the dress with the thigh-high split on Lea, I feel like she's not tall enough to pull of all the fabric. The actress paired her dress with silver Casadei pumps, a sparkly Fendi bag and Lorraine Schwartz diamond. 

  

Angelina Jolie looked beautiful in a slinky black Jenny Packham Fall 2011 draped gown. The metallic gown was even more gorgeous on Angelina since she accessorized with drop hoop earrings from House of Lavande. The actress wore her hair in a swept back straight style. Angelina's look was finished with Gucci heels, a clutch by Louis Vuitton and a few rings by Platt Boutique. 

  

Stacy Keibler attended the SAG's together with George Clooney. She walked the red carpet in a lace gown with a mermaid-like skirt and a wide scalloped neckline by Marchesa. Stacy also carried a clutch and accessorized with large diamond drop earrings. Her hair was in a soft, wavy updo.  

  

I know I didn't include Natalie Portman and Sophia Vergara in my post, although they looked gorgeous. Natalie wore a beautiful Giambattista Valli gown but she wasn't best dressed because she wasn't able to work the gown. Sophia's curve-hugging gown was just same old, same old. 

My favourite of the evening? Since I'm into glitz Jayma Mays and my all time faves Stacy and Amber. But also Emily, whaaa I can't choose! You?

Report • 2012 Golden Globe Awards Best Dressed

On Sunday night, the 69th Annual Golden Globes were held in LA. Here is the list of my best dressed.

Salma Hayek was one of my faves on the red carpet this year. The actress wore a strapless sequined art deco gown by Gucci. The gold and black liquid skirt was accented with a beaded belt in the waist. Salma styled her dress with art deco style earrings, satin peep-toe heels and a satin Gucci clutch. The actress kept her hair down in bouncy curls and wore neutral make-up. 

  

Supermodel Heidi Klum looked simple but stunning in a nude crepe gown with a plunging back by Calvin Klein Collection. Heidi added a beautiful (and expensive) pop of colour with a bold turquoise Lorraine Schwartz necklace and matching rings and earrings. She kept her hair down in a straight style and wore very natural make-up. I love how the necklace is the center of the look!

  

Redhead Emma Stone donned a beautiful custom Lanvin gown in a deep plum colour with raspberry panels on the side. The gown featured embroidered shoulders and a crystal eagle leather belt. The actress paired her gown with metallic strappy sandals and diamond earrings. Emma's hair was up in a soft do. 

  

Lea Michele walked the red carpet in a fabulous Marchesa embroidered illusion gown from the Spring 2012 collection. The feather-appliqué gown was paired with statement earrings and a beautiful emerald ring by Lorraine Schwartz. Lea's hair was up in a messy do, statement eye make-up complemented her look. 

   

True Blood-actress Evan Rachel Wood walked the red carpet in a custom halter gown by Gucci Premiere. The midnight green dress was embroidered with overlapping paillettes and ostrich plumes, cascading into a full skirt. Evan paired her dress with black peep-toes and a Judith Leiber clutch. So graceful. 

Julie Bowen looked like a princess in a gown with a corset-bodice and a tulle skirt by Reem Acra. The pale pink gown with embroidered sleeves was paired with Casadei pumps and a clutch by Judith Leiber. Julie's hair was in a half pulled back do, the actress accessorized with Martin Katz jewels. 

  

Nicole Richie sparkled in a glamorous textured dress from the Julien MacDonald Spring 2012 collection. The designer showed off a sexy open back and paired her funky dress with Jimmy Choo sandals. Nicole's hair was in a bouffant ponytail and she accessorized with thick bangles with red stones and a silver clutch. 

  

Charlize Theron donned a pale pink sleeveless gown with a deep V-neck, an embellished bow on the side and a long train by Christian Dior Couture. The actress styled her gown with white ankle strap sandals by Givenchy and diamond stud earrings. Charlize's hair was in a curly updo, accented by a diamond hairband. 

  

Stacy Keibler looked stunning in a red Valentino gown with a bow-detail on the back. The cowl neck gown was teamed with black peep-toe heels and a black beaded clutch. Stacy's hair was up in a sophisticated bun. She accessorized with diamond jewelry.
