Goodluck Jonathan Makes His Debut On TIME Magazine's '100 Most Influential People In The World' List
TIME" Magazine has named President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan in ’100 Most Influential People in the World’ list. Th US weekly news magazine noted that the poeple who made the list "are the people who inspire us, entertain us, challenge us and change our world.”
Jonathan who popped up on the prestigious list which was released on Wednesday, April 18, 2012 on the magazine’s official website falls a spot behind US President Barrack Obama.
The citation on Jonathan was written by Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, President of Liberia:
US professional basketball player with the New York Knicks, Jeremy Lin who had a tremendous season ranks number one on the list. Others who made the top ten are US football quarterback for the New York Jets, Tim Tebow, pop star Rihanna and African-American Academy Award nominee Viola Davis.
