On Friday evening (July 8), Will and Kate touched down on US soil, at LAX Airport. The Duchess had made a quick outfit change on the plane. She had changed into a grey Roksanda Ilincic dress from the Spring 2011 collection with a drape neckline and and a pleated front. This time, Kate went for other nude pumps by Jimmy Choo. After arriving at LAX, the royal couple made their way over to Variety's Venture Capital and New Media Summit, held at the Beverly Hilton hotel.
Making their second stop in the US, the royal couple attended a private reception held at the British Consul-General's residence in LA where they were guests of honour. While Kate mingled with all guests, William chatted with David Beckham. For the occasion, the Duchess had changed into a green silk Diane von Furstenburg dress. She styled the dress with a DVF snakesking clutch. Love this colour on her!
William and Kate looked delighted while attending the Foundation Polo Challenge and playing some polo (William). The couple attended the Foundation Polo Challenge at the Santa Barbara Polo Club. The competition was held to benefit the American Friends of the Foundation of Prince William and Prince Harry. The Duchess looked summery in a printed silk Jenny Packham dress. Kate teamed the dress with nude L.K. Bennett strappy sandals which weren't seen before on this tour and her sparkly L.K. Bennett clutch.
To one of the most anticipated stops on the couple's tour, the BAFTA Brits To Watch Gala, Kate wore a lilac pleated Alexander McQueen gown which was accented with a waistband. She paired her gown with glittery silver Jimmy Choo sandals and a clutch also by Jimmy Choo.
Kate's final outfit of the tour, in which she attended a reception to celebrate and mark the launch of Tusk Trust's US Parton's Circle in Santa Barbara and departed in on July 10 was again, a navy ensemble. The Duchess combined a white pleated skirt and a navy and white crochet top, both by Whistles. She teamed her ensemble with her suede navy pumps by Prada.
And with this outfit, the big fashion tour has come to an end.
What do you think?
