Naomi Campbell’s new house on a private Turkish isle called Isla Playa de Cleopatra, has rendered me speechless. I honestly do not know what to make of it, as it just gives me this eery sensation.
Commissioned by her Russian Billionaire boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin, for her 41st birthday, the house (a 25 room eco-friendly mansion) has been constructed in the SHAPE OF AN EYE. To be even more precise, it is the eye of ancient Egyptian deity called Horus, who had the body of a man and the head of a hawk. Yikes!!! Spooky!!!
According to interiors mag, Inhabitat, the glass dome-shaped house was designed by Architect Luis de Garrido, and "is completely energy and water self-sufficient and features an amazing indoor landscaped terrace." Um...okay!!!
I must admit though that it is very beautiful, unique and artistic, but...not my cuppa. It has a creepy aura about it and i envisage poltergeists and aliens and all manner of scary celestial beings occupying every room and playing golf outside in the night!!! *legs it*
