Review • OPI Just Spotted The Lizard

It has been a long time ago since I posted a manicure but sometimes I'm just too busy to take pictures. Still, here is a new review! This week I'm wearing Just Spotted The Lizard from the OPI Spider-Man collection! I bought it a few weeks ago and also wore it to prom, perfectly complementing my outfit, the same outfit that Olivia Palermo wore in NYC!


This translucent yellow, green and gold lacquer is one of the six shades in the Spider-Man collection, it has the same effect as Not Like The Movies and Go On Green!: it changes colour in different lighting. 

I love this rich hue and how it adapts to each outfit I wear. Thereby, it is super easy to apply! It dries within minutes, especially when you use Quick Dry drops! From my previous experience I know that this polish doesn't chip quickly, but to not take chances, I use Chip Skip! This way, it easily stays on for a week.

Nail News • OPI Spider-Man Collection

This May, OPI will introduce a new collection inspired by upcoming action movie The Amazing Spider-Man. This collection includes six edgy hues and a new shimmering green Shatter polish. With this new collection you have the perfect pink for a sticky situation, you can show your metal in a sparkling nickel and climb new height with this cityscape white! OPI once again has captured many nail polish trends in one collection, without losing originality and still being very striking. Lets see the new shades!

From the left to the right: Shatter The Scales (shimmery green Shatter), Your Web Or Mine? (flirtatious pinkish red), Call Me Gwen-ever (orangy coral), Into The Night (metallic midnight blue), My Boyfriend Scales Walls (chalky white), Number One Nemesis (sparkly metal) & Just Spotted The Lizard (translucent yellow-green).  

The collection is available in the U.S. in May 2012, it will go international in June 2012. Now you have plenty of time to get superhero ready, The Amazing Spider-Man hits cinemas on July 3, 2012.
