Kelly Rowland For UK Cosmopolitan November 2011

Kelly Rowland covers the UK edition of Cosmopolitan November 2011Edition.

On her boob job: I said in an interview a long time ago that I’d get it done becauseI just had little nuggets for boobs and it was bothering me. The decision was 10 years in the making so I’m comfortable talking about it. It’s something I really wanted to do for myself – not for a man, not for work, for myself…and I love them!

On calling of her wedding to Roy: I was too young for marriage. I remember my sister B [BeyoncĂ©] asked me one question: she said, ‘Well, you know what you want now, don’t you?’ and I was like ‘Yes’…It was so hard and embarrassing because everyone knew. I’d posed for the front cover of a magazine in my wedding dress and it was on sale! But sometimes you fall down and you learn from it.

On the single life: Before, I’d want to lean on somebody. Now I love the fact that I can just be a single lady, chilling and hanging with my friends, and travelling the world. It’s a pretty good life. I’m ready for marriage when the right time comes now, though.

On despising photo shoots: “You just feel like you’re being raped somehow. Raped. The whole thing. It feels like a kind of weird—just weird, man…. Whenever you have a photo shoot or something like that, it’s like—you just feel dumb. It’s just so stupid.”

On taking on as many projects as he can: “Basically, if they’re going to pay me the stupid money right now, I’m going to take it. I have to. I mean, it’s not for me. Do you know what I mean? At this point, it’s for my kids. It’s ridiculous, yeah, yeah. But ultimately is it for me? No. No. It’s for the kids.”

On the lack of support for 2004′s The Libertine from Harvey Weinstein: “Harvey killed a great film.”

Naomi Campbell for Fall/Winter Lurve #5

http://lifeandtimes.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/lurvelifeandtimes.jpeg

“In this shoot, we wanted Naomi to look like a modern day Mona Lisa. She’s not sporting the usual long locks that we are used to seeing her with. Our idea was to make her look very different – yet still with an iconic reference. As a black woman, it was such a big achievement to have one of the biggest top models alive on the cover of my magazine. Naomi is the essence of black beauty.”

Kanye West Debuts Clothing Line At Paris Fashion Week. (Photos)

Kanye West debuted his fashion line at Paris Fashion Week 2012.  So far the line has received good reviews.  Designer Jeremy Scott said, ”Everyone probably thought it was going to be another like Jennifer Lopez’s Macy’s line and it’s not, it’s really clear it’s not. Kanye has impeccable taste and you see his taste level is up there. He’s a fan of design across the board. I have five-hour long conversations with him all the time about everything because he’s so obsessed, and I think we got a little bit of an insight into his mind there.”
Ciara, who attended the show, said ”he did a great job. I walked away from this show feeling like I would love to wear this line. There is so much in it that’s right up my alley. Especially since for me, it’s so cool to see someone come from our music world and do something like this. It’s really hard.”

Peep the full collection and Kanye taking a bow, after the jump.

Lil Wayne For Vibe Mag (October / November 2011)

VIBE: You say competition is for the “old guys,” but it sounds like you’re going at Jay-Z with that line, “I got your baby money/Kidnap your b*tch, get that how-much-you-love-your-lady money.” Are we looking at it the wrong way?
LIL WAYNE: I know for a fact, music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. If I know that for a fact, I can never be upset about someone’s reaction to it. I’m not gonna say I don’t know what will happen before I say it [on record]. I do know what will happen. I am aware of it. It is what it is.
VIBE: So you knew the repercussions of going after Jay before anything even happened?
LIL WAYNE: Well, I’m a man. I believe as a man you should know that. Every man should know the repercussions and consequences behind whatever they do before they do it. And of course, I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did.
The issue hits newsstands in October. Read more at Vibe.

Lenny Kravitz Covers "The Block" Magazine (Issue 25).

Rock might not be dead, but its stars are fading fast. Most rock stars still alive hardly look it, and their heirs? The new guitarmen and women might play something called rock, and they might be stars, but rock stars they are not. Once, rock smashed rules and mores and was larger and louder than life, and so were the dudes (Jagger, Cobain, Iggy Pop) and babes (Patti Smith) who made it. They were glam, rude, addicted, ill-behaved, unabashed, often un-hip and thus eternally cool.

Hooded sweater, Yigal AzrouĂ«l; Trousers, Robert Geller; Necklace, Pamela Love; Belt, Artemas Quibble; Boots, Rick Owens; all other jewelry (worn throughout), Lenny’s own

Today there’s an actual “rock” hit called “Every Teardrop is a Waterfall” and the hardest-core band I listen to is Fucked Up. People will go on and on about Fucked Up, then stop and say, oh, but Damian Abraham is such a nice guy. But I don’t want Damian Abraham to be a nice guy. I want him to be Fucked Up.
Still, holes make the theory, and there are holes in mine. There are the Strokes, older now and rehabbed, but nonetheless proper Manhattan assholes in leather jackets. There is, admittedly, Dave Grohl. There’s Pete Doherty, but is he even making music? There was, until recently, Amy Winehouse.
And there is Lenny Kravitz.

Aishwarya Rai: Another Wax Figure Of The Beautiful Actress To Be Unveiled At Madame Tussauds

http://www.pinkvilla.com/files/imagecache/ContentPreview/07bridalcollectionofLongineswatches031.jpg

Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor to tour the world together

It's a known fact that Bollywood stars are famous across the globe. But who would've thought that their wax figures would get as big a response as the stars themselves? That's exactly what's going to happen on foreign shores next month. Madame Tussauds in Blackpool, United Kingdom, is to launch a Global Touring Bollywood Exhibition, which will showcase the Indian superstars at Madame Tussauds in all their filmi glory.

This is a first-of-its-kind exhibition for the world-famous museum, allowing fans across the globe the chance to see their favourite Bollywood stars immortalised in wax. A special Bollywood room is being created within Madame Tussauds Blackpool for the event, where a week-long series of activities will take place alongside the exhibit.

The exhibition will kick-off in Blackpool on October 8 and will run until December 28. After Blackpool, the exhibition will move to Bangkok and other cities, including London, Hong Kong, and other places across Europe and USA. The latest addition to the Bollywood figures of Madame Tussauds — the wax statue of

Kareena Kapoor — will be unveiled in the midst of the exhibition, on October 18, as will a new figurine of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan!
The buzz is that Miss Kapoor will launch the exhibition, and might be joined by some of the other stars. A source at the museum states that the Bollywood room attracts a large number of Indian tourists; the touring exhibition will give more filmi fans around the world a chance to see their reel-life stars in wax. Kareena will be the sixth B-Town star to be part of Madame Tussauds Bollywood wax figures, after Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan.
