Rose Byrne opted to wear Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 on the red carpet. The actress wore a nude-and-black lace dress paired with Sergio Rossi black satin pumps, I guess those just brought the whole look down for me. Rose also carried an ivory McQueen skull-clasp clutch and wore her hair down in wavy locks.
I was shocked when I saw pictures of Sarah Jessica Parker arriving at the gala. She was wearing a leather biker jacket by Theyskens’ Theory, gloves and a leather VBH shoulder bag with her pink Oscar de la Renta Pre-Fall 2012 gown. In the end, when inside, SJP didn't wear her jacket (phew). Without the jacket, a pleated pink gown and a gorgeous statement necklace were revealed. What sort of accessory-choice was this?!
Leighton Meester was also spotted at the red carpet. The Gossip Girl-actress donned a Pre-Fall 2012 dress by Louis Vuitton. The LV look actually is a simple little black dress, apart from the fur panels on the skirt. Leighton paired her dress with a sequined bag, also by Louis Vuitton and she opted for simple black ankle-strap heels. Leighton wore her hair down in a curly style with fringes.
Heidi Klum was solo on the red carpet, but did look good! The supermodel opted for a sequined column gown, looking very statuesque. The only thing bothering me about this gown is that it slits down a little at the bust. Heidi styled her look with beautiful black onyx jewelry, her hair was up in a simple bun.
Julianne Moore opted for a dark blue Roberto Cavalli gown for the gala (I know, surprising combination). The long-sleeved jersey gown was paired with a black satin Bottega Veneta clutch. The actress swept her red hair over the shoulder and wore matte red lippie.
Lindsay Lohan walked the red carpet in a simple white Tom Ford tailored pocket dress, teamed with grey suede Prada platform pumps. Lindsay kept her hair down in a curly style (to me it looked quite dead, though). She opted to wear neutral make-up and jewelry by XIV Karat. Don't you think Lindsay is starting to look really old, real quickly?
Roberto Cavalli was very popular at the red carpet this evening, Jennifer Hudson also decided to wear one of his designs. The singer arrived in a taupe sequined gown with a deep neckline and a thigh-high split. Jennifer teamed her gown with gold strappy sandals and statement jewels. Her hair was down in a curly style.
Karolina Kurkova wore an asymmetrical silk blue Vionnet dress. The dress seems to be a simple mini V-neck dress but this one featured a rise-and-fall train. The model paired her dress with black trimming with gladiator sandals. Her hair was in an intricate updo, she also wore beautiful dangling diamond earrings and carried a shimmering clutch.
45-year-old model Cindy Crawford donned a deep V-neck gown with a sequined net overlay by Roberto Cavalli. She paired her dress with simple sandals, a black clutch, chandelier earrings and curls cascading down her shoulders.
Alexa Chung mixed two looks from the Louis Vuitton Spring 2012 collection. She opted for a silk blouse and teamed it with a leather skirt with studded floral appliqué. Alexa styled her look with LV pumps with metal toe-caps and a floral clutch. Maybe she should have groomed her hair for the occasion.
Who is your best dressed from this evening? I think Heidi Klum looked stunning!
