Spot • Jessie J at the Diamond Jubilee Concert

Jessie J performed at the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Concert yesterday evening at Buckingham Palace in London. The singer sang her single Domino and a duet with will.i.am. Jessie looked fabulous in a Falguni & Shane Peacock Spring 2012 gown. The gold and royal blue gown with red and silver embellishments featured blue feathers on the skirt for a more dramatic effect. She styled her gown with black open-toe booties by Kat Maconie and gold hooped earrings. Dark eye make-up and a sleek ponytail provided the finishing touches for Jessie's look.

Red Carpet Spot • Jessie J at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala 2012

I loved Jessie J tonight at the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS Gala 2012 during the Cannes Film Festival. 


The singer looked stunning in a deep red velvet Louis Heal Fall 2012 gown. The leopard-printed gown with slashed neckline and thigh-high side split was styled with velvet black ankle booties and a gold clutch by Lulu Guinness. A wavy bob and deep red lipstick completed Jessie's look. 

  

Although this look would have been perfect with a pair of strappy sandals, I still love this look!

Red Carpet Report • The 2012 Elle Women In Music Awards

The 3rd Annual Elle Women In Music Awards were held at the Avalon in Hollywood on Wednesday. 


Ellie Goulding looked very rocker-ish on the red carpet. The British singer wore a black Maison Martin Margiela biker jacket with flame-detailing on the back, paired with leather J Brand pants. Underneath the jacket, Ellie donned a black cut-out bodysuit by Cushnie et Ochs. Her look was finished with Giancarlo pumps with PVC accents and multiple gold statement rings. 

  

Nicole Scherzinger wore a skin-baring Tony Ward Spring Summer 2012 dress from the Couture collection. The blue embellished dress with wide open back was paired with suede platform pumps by Jimmy Choo and a  snake-skin Swarovski clutch. The singer wore her hair up in a high ponytail, what showed off her bare back. Hooped earrings completed Nicole's look. 

  

Candice Accola wore a summery patchwork dress with asymmetrical hemline. The maxi with lace detailing was paired with tan leather clogs. The actress wore her hair in a beautiful braided updo. I love Candice's earrings, dangling green statements!

  

Jessie J, oh my, is also participating in the ombre hair trend. The singer walked the red carpet in a latex dress by Luis Heal for Luxury Latex. The long-sleeve leopard-print dress with gold zip detail along the sleeves was paired with black suede ankle booties by Dolce Vita. Jessie accessorized with a vintage gold Chanel Lion Head necklace. For her performance, the singer donned a custom hot pink leopard catsuit by Alice Vandy. She styled her catsuit with her favourite Jeffrey Campbell spiked ankle boots and a leather biker jacket. 

  

Oh Land joined in on the pajama trend on Wednesday. The singer opted for a yellow silk floral-print shirt with matching pants, paired with a faux fur jacket by Kenzo. Oh Land paired her Pre-Fall 2012 ensemble with chunky black wedges, her hair was down in a wavy style. Without the heavy fluffy jacket, this look would have been better.

  

Best dressed? Actually, no one is a 'best dressed' for me at this event...

Spot • Jessie J At 'The Voice UK' Launch

This afternoon, singer and now a judge of The Voice, attended the The Voice UK launch at the Soho Hotel in London. The singer looked very fashionable in a printed maxi skirt and top by Georgia Hardinge, from the Fall 2011 collection. Jessie J styled her ensemble with her signature massive embroidered hoop earrings and a fuchsia lip shade. Her hair was in a super tight topbun, her statement eye make-up completed the look.

Red Carpet Report • The 2012 BRIT Awards

Yesterday evening, the 2012 BRIT Awards were held in London at the O2 Arena. Big winners were Ed Sheeran (British Male Solo Artist, British Breakthrough Artist) and Adele (British Female Solo Artist, British Album of the Year). Other winners were Lana Del Rey, Bruno Mars and Rihanna. 


Jessie J was one of my favourites on the red carpet this evening. The British singer wore a red sheer gown with strategically placed floral embroideries by Falguni & Shane Peacock. Jessie made a bold statement in this one. Jessie wore her hair pulled back, in a way that made her hair pop out in a voluminous way. The singer completed her look with large hoop earrings and black lacquered nails. 

  

Rihanna took home Best International Female Artist award in a Givenchy Spring 2012 Couture look. The singer's taupe shimmering embellished gown featured a thigh-high split and a plunging neckline. Rihanna teamed her gown with with Givenchy peep-toes and brown leather opera gloves. The singer wore her hair in a chic updo, she completed her look with Solange Azagury-Partridge earrings. The dress is really a good look for Rihanna, but I just can't stand gloves on the red carpet. 

  

International Breakthrough Act, Lana Del Rey walked the red carpet in a vivid red gown. The off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood couture gown wasn't a good choice for Lana's figure, since the design was just sort of hanging on her. There isn't much to say besides that, since Lana didn't accessorize and didn't do much with her hair either. Matching red nail polish completed Lana's look. Really, some bold accessories could have saved this look. 

  

Adele took home two awards. The British singer opted for a floor-length black gown by Burberry with tree-quarter length sleeves. Actually, this gown originally is strapless but a demure sheer bodice with beaded neckline was attached to it. Adele wore her hair in bouncy curls, she accessorized with De Beers jewels. 

  

Victoria Justice also attended the BRIT Awards. The 20-year-old wore an interesting long-sleeved minidress by IZMAYLOVA. The mini dress featured leather paneling, cut-outs, a double wrapped leather belt and crushed velvet. Victoria teamed her dress with studded Brian Atwood pumps and diamond drop earrings. The star wore her hair up in a strange twisted updo, which weighed the look down for me. 

  

X-Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger donned a strapless studded lemon gown by Versace, from the Spring 2012 collection. The column gown featured a fitted bodice and a more flowy skirt. The 33-year-old paired her gown with strappy sandals and gold jewels. Her raven locks were down in a pin-straight style. Nicole's look was finished with a glossy pout. The only flaw of this look for me is that it seems like the bodice is sitting too low on her body. 

  

Pixie Lott looked beautiful. The singer wore a floor-length black lace gown with corset-bodice by D&G. The gorgeous gown fitted Pixie Lott like a second skin. I guess the styling made the look really successful for me. The singer accessorized with a velvet red clutch and a massive ruby red cocktail ring. Pixie's hair was in a curly retro do, a classy red pout completed her look. 

  

Florence Welch wore Alexander McQueen twice last evening. To walk the red carpet, the Florence and the Machine-singer donned an Alexander McQueen Spring 2012 look. The nude gown had a rise-and-fall skirt and long sleeves. She teamed her gown with matching Alexander McQueen wedges. For her performance of No Light, No Light, Florence opted to wear another McQueen look. The gown featured a gold embroidered bodice which flowed into a sheer beaded chiffon skirt and sleeves. 

   

Kylie Minogue presented at the award show. The Australian singer wore a strapless royal blue gown by YSL with a bejeweled accent on the empire-waist. Kylie's gown also featured a front split. She accessorized with massive dangling diamond earrings, her hair was down in a wavy style. 

  

Christina Perri wore a very daring look. She walked the red carpet in a vivid red dress with completely sheer top by Basil Soda. The singer had sequined her nipples just to be sure and also made sure her long tresses fell over her twins. Although I'm not a big fan of the completely sheer bodice, the flowing layered skirt with train is beautiful. 

  

Fearne Cotton looked very vintage on the red carpet. The TV-personality donned a Miu Miu Spring/Summer 2012 look. She paired a white lace blouse with embellishments at the collar with a cute and layered skirt. Fearne accessorized with thick-banded sandals and a cute patent leather clutch. Her blonde hair was in a soft bob. 

  

Alexandra Burke opted for a less known designer, she wore a dress by Indian designer duo Alpana & Neeraj, from the 2011 collection. The goddess-like dress featured a midnight blue chiffon-length gown with a molded leather top, attached to the goddess-like bodice. The singer accessorized with statement jewelry, Alexandra's look was completed with a super tight top-braid.

Red Carpet Report • The 2012 Grammy Awards

On February 12, the 2012 Grammy Awards took place at the Staples Center in LA. The big winner was Adele. 


Kate Beckinsale donned a white silk mini dress with a black bow accent by Zuhair Murad, from the Fall 2011 collection. The draped detail dress was paired with black satin Salvatore Ferragamo platform pumps, which complemented the velvet bow detail. Kate wore her hair up in a chic and wavy do, she also wore beautiful statement earrings by Sutra. 

  

Gwyneth Paltrow looked gorgeous in a cut-out Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2012 gown. Her black gown with mesh panels on the side and a gold waistband was styled with a tight ponytail, bright red nails and a few cocktail rings. The only thing I dislike about this look are the illusion panels on the side which wrinkled all the time. 

  

Singer Taylor Swift walked the red carpet in a shimmering sequin gown from Zuhair Murad's Fall 2011 Couture collection. The cap-sleeve embroidered nude gown featured a sheer skirt, a flowy train and gold beading. Surprisingly, Taylor wore her hair in a tight ballerina bun while normally she would go for a curly style. I guess this is a good choice since the gown is quite busy already. Taylor topped off her look with Neil Lane jewels and metallic gold Prada sandals. 

  

Katy Perry also attended the Grammy's (and performed in a tight latex suit). The 27-year-old opted to wear a light blue Elie Saab Spring 2012 Couture gown. The beaded and floral appliqué gown featured a scoop back and a simple ribbon at the waist. Katy accessorized with Norman Silverman jewels, which included diamond drop earrings and an ascher cut diamond bracelet. Her blue hair was in a voluminous updo. I bet Katy would have looked even better with her black tresses. After her performance, Katy opted for an overall embellished Gucci gown with a bejeweled neckline. 

  

Country singer Carrie Underwood hit the red carpet in a long-sleeved sequined Gomez-Gracia gown with an open back. Carrie paired her dress with diamond earrings and a black crystal Swarovski clutch. Her hair was swept back in a messy braided hairstyle. In my opinion, that black clutch is too heavy with the light, flowy dress. 

  

Rihanna looked effortlessly gorgeous and hot at the red carpet. The singer wore a custom black silk Giorgio Armani gown. The gown had a central split, which came very close to the plunging neckline. The back was dangerously open after which the gown flowed into a train. Riri styled her dress with a gold clutch, pendant necklaces and PVC-trimmed Louboutins. Flawless make-up and her blonde hair with blunt bangs finished off her look. 

  

British singer and big winner of the night Adele also opted for Giorgio Armani; a three-quarter-length-sleeved dress, covered in sequins and accented at the waist by a panel. Adele also premiered her new and lighter hairdo, which she wore in a curly style. Her look was complimented with diamond earrings and a bright red pout. 

   

Kelly Rowland also was one of the attendees. She hit the red carpet in a nude Alberta Ferretti gown with an illusion panel and a silver embroidered bodice. The singer wore her beautiful hair in a center-parted, swept back style. This uncovered large diamond earrings. 

  

British singer Jessie J shined like a disco-ball in an embellished silver bustier gown by Julien Macdonald. The gown with mermaid hemline was paired with a black lips clutch by Lulu Guinness and huge statement earrings. The 23-year-old wore her hair up in a high and tight ponytail with blunt bangs. I love that Jessie's look is gorgeous but not too crazy. 

  

Then we have Fergie. The singer left very little to the imagination on Sunday evening. She opted for a sheer lace cap-sleeve Jean Paul Gaultier Spring/Summer 2012 gown. Of course Fergie didn't decide to line the gown, she just donned a black bra and briefs underneath it. On the footwear department, the singer opted for Walter Steiger platforms. Fergie styled her gown with massive Neil Lane hoop earrings, a Neil Lane cuff and a metallic clutch by Judith Leiber. 

  

Alicia Keys also went for a couture look, the singer donned an Alexandre Vauthier Spring 2012 Couture LBD with padded shoulders. She styled her black dress with a statement choker and PCV-trimmed Christian Louboutin heels. I'm not loving this look. The choker looks uncomfortable on Alicia and the straps of her heels are making her legs look shorter then they really are. 

  

An unexpected attendee, Malin Akerman, walked the red carpet in a white cut-out cocktail dress by Cushnie et Ochs. Malin teamed her white dress with heavy black heels, which matched the onyx clutch she carried. I wish she would have opted for less heavy shoes; sexy stilettos maybe? Malin wore her hair down in a sleek and casual style. 

  

Paris Hilton actually looked good at the Grammy's. The star hit the red carpet in a white and gold Basil Soda gown with a gold metallic waistband, sheer white panels and overall embroidery. The gown with mermaid hemline looked gorgeous on Paris. Her hair was in a loose braided updo.
